The Hart is a luxury boutique accommodation that sits high atop a ridge, overlooking its 50 acres of valleys and forest in the Bay of Plenty.
When The Hart approached ReserveGroup to design and build their new website, our team were very excited. The beautiful new lodge brand - and the absolutely stunning property itself - were divine inspiration for the crisp, clean and classic website aesthetic our design team created.
One of our Photojournalists spent a day at The Hart taking website photography that reflects the beauty and class of the property and its interior design, and the decision was then taken to use primarily Black and White imagery - to give The Hart a truly unique and timeless look.
Upon entering the website, visitors see the ornate Hart Lodge logo growing and 'drawing' itself, as brand messages are displayed over a slideshow of inspiring imagery.
All website pages feature a large image area, under which are displayed a number of smaller images. Visitors can interact with the image area, hovering their mouse over the small images to have them display in the large image space.
The website includes an interactive Google location map, so visitors to the lodge can find it easily. The map can show a Satellite map view, a Streets view or a hybrid of the two. Visitors can also enter their origin from anywhere in New Zealand (in a range of languages!) and then the interactive map will give precise driving directions from that location to The Hart. These directions can even be printed off for travelers to keep in the rental car!
ReserveGroup provided all website text for The Hart, and performed a comprehensive Search Engine Optimisation of the website.
